Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to vehicle hire and related services provided by Jaral Motors (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“hirer”, “you”). By submitting a booking request, paying a deposit/bond, or taking possession of a vehicle, you agree to these Terms and to the written rental agreement provided for your hire.

2. Eligibility

• You must hold a valid licence for the class of vehicle hired, recognised in Western Australia.
• Minimum age and licence tenure requirements may apply and will be confirmed at booking.
• International licence holders may need an International Driving Permit.
• We may refuse or cancel a hire if documentation is incomplete, expired, or we reasonably believe the hire is unsafe or unlawful.

3. Bookings and confirmation

Online requests are subject to availability and our confirmation. A hire is only confirmed when we accept it and (where required) you have paid the agreed deposit, bond, or prepayment. Vehicle images on the website are illustrative; the specific unit allocated may vary within the same category.

4. Pricing, GST and bond

• Hire rates may be daily, weekly, monthly, or custom. Quoted amounts include GST unless stated otherwise.
• A refundable security bond may be required. The bond may be used for damage, excess kilometres, cleaning, fuel, tolls, fines, or unpaid hire charges.
• Additional fees (out-of-hours pickup, delivery, extras) will be disclosed before confirmation where practicable.

5. Pickup and return

• Collect and return the vehicle at the agreed time and place, with all keys, accessories, and documents.
• Fuel must be returned at the agreed level unless a prepaid fuel option applies.
• Late returns may attract additional hire charges. Early returns do not automatically entitle you to a refund unless we agree in writing.

6. Your responsibilities

• Drive carefully and comply with all road laws and manufacturer guidance.
• Do not allow unauthorised drivers; do not use the vehicle for racing, towing (unless approved), illegal activity, or off-road use beyond the vehicle’s design.
• Do not smoke in the vehicle or transport hazardous goods without written approval.
• Secure the vehicle when unattended. Report accidents, theft, or mechanical issues to us immediately and to police where required.
• You are responsible for tolls, parking, speeding, and other infringements incurred during the hire.

7. Insurance and damage

Basic cover included with the hire (if any) and any excess / excess-reduction options are described in your rental agreement. You may be liable for loss or damage up to the excess, and for loss not covered (for example unauthorised drivers, intoxication, deliberate damage, or breach of these Terms).

8. Kilometres

Hires include a kilometre allowance stated on your agreement or quote. Excess kilometres are charged at the rate advised at booking.

9. Cancellation and changes

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup are generally free of charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. We may cancel due to unavailability, safety, or force majeure and will offer a suitable alternative or a refund of prepaid hire fees where appropriate.

10. Extensions

Extensions require our approval and are subject to availability and additional charges.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of Western Australia.
